Mini Caramel Apple Bites

Instructions

  1. Wash apples and cut them into bite-sized chunks. Pat dry completely.
  2. Insert a toothpick into each chunk and place on a parchment-lined tray.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt caramels with milk over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  4. Dip each apple piece into caramel, then roll in toppings (peanuts, sprinkles, etc.).
  5. Place on tray and chill in fridge for 15–20 minutes to set.
  6. Serve cold or at room temperature. Best enjoyed the same day.

Chef’s Note: Make sure apples are very dry so caramel sticks well. These make a great treat for fall gatherings or kid-friendly dessert boards.
